New Orleans shrimp portions produced at volume

Production · processing · distribution · storage

Produce it here.
Get it to the store.

SBA asked for more production, processing, distribution, and storage of American food — to increase the supply of domestic food products and fill grocery stores with affordable, nutritious, homegrown food. That is this plant. New Orleans food. Made here. Sent anywhere.

The work

Produce. Process. Package. Store. Distribute. Sell.

Fleur Delish Food Systems is not a restaurant and not a supermarket. It is a New Orleans manufacturer — NAICS 311412 — that cooks packaged frozen food, freezes it, holds it, and ships it into grocery freezer doors and household subscriptions. We apply as that manufacturer. We also support the Grocery Guarantee ask with a grocery sector of the same plant: 100 stores in Year 1. That is how this plant fills stores without becoming a supermarket. Other brands use the same line when contracted. The factory is the asset.

The story, in one stack

Every layer is food supply. Capital is how the plant is paid for.

National need → private-sector solution

Expand food production and supply. Fill grocery stores. This is the private plant.

  1. National food-supply needExpand food production and supply. Increase production, processing, and distribution. Fill America’s grocery stores with affordable, nutritious, homegrown food.
  2. The work SBA namedInvestments in production, processing, distribution, and storage — so the businesses that produce, process, distribute, and sell America’s food can expand supply.
  3. New Orleans food-production gapThis city is famous for food and short of owned processing, packaging, frozen storage, and outbound distribution for prepared food.
  4. Private $5M plantLand, 25,000-SF facility, equipment, inventory, working capital — $4.5M request, $500K equity.
  5. Fleur Delish Food SystemsPackaged frozen New Orleans food into grocery and household channels. The loan is repaid from operating cash flow — not from a program name.

What the plant does

Production. Processing. Distribution. Storage. On one dock.

That is SBA’s 2026 food wording. It is also the floor plan. We are not recoding this company as a supermarket. We are building the missing middle that grocery policy is asking for.

Produce & process

Recipes, ingredients and flavors of New Orleans, cooked in a controlled commercial food-production environment. Kettles, combis, chill, freeze.

Package & code

Tray sealing, labeling, lot coding, metal detection, checkweighing, case packing — packaged frozen food, ready for a freezer door.

Store & distribute

Blast freeze, finished-goods refrigeration, backup power, outbound from this dock to grocery, household, and contracted B2B.

Capacity

Designed to increase domestic prepared-food production as demand develops.

25,000 SF. Opening one-shift design of about 35,000 meal-equivalents a week. Two-shift configuration about 70,000. That is production capacity — not a claim that the company must cook 35,000 meals a week to survive.

Grocery — designed in

The tray that can sit in a grocery freezer is the same tray the house eats.

Gumbo. Red beans. Jambalaya. Packaged frozen food into wholesale. That is how this plant fills a grocery store. Opening plan: 100 doors × 100 units/week = $3.54 million in Year 1, growing to 450 doors and $31.82 million. Scenario A coverage still reconstructs on D2C so a late buyer cannot break the note. The cases ship from first production.
